SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)

The SAC will be looking at the region website to find missing / incorrect links, missing /incorrect information, out of date information, etc. If anyone has run across anything, let the SAC know at solo@kcrscca.org and we will add it to the list if it is not already there.

The national tour and pro solo schedules have been released. In addition to Spring and Fall Nationals in Lincoln, the Midwest Division will host a Pro Solo on April 6 and 7 at Frederick Field in Frederick, OK and a CAM/XS Challenge in St. Louis on May 4 and 5 at Family Arena.

We have a preliminary schedule started. We will release it when there is confirmation from MCC on date availability and rental fees.

We have revised the supplementary rules to codify some things like 4 wheels off is a DNF and parameters for evaluating event cancellation for weather. The rules will be forwarded to the BOD for approval and then posted on the region website.

While it is still a bit early, we wanted to remind everyone that we have a $500 fund available for someone who would like to attend solo nationals who has not yet done so but is hesitant due to the cost. We will take names until just before Tier 3 registration opens and make a choice then so that person can register promptly. If registration is anything like 2023, the race is to get registered before the event cap is reached (took approximately 4 hours in 2023).
