Call to Order
The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Paula Diehl at 7:03 PM and Conroy’s Public House.

Board Members not in attendance: Phil Meredith

Bill made a motion to approve the minutes; Max seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Jessica Dorn
Jessica has submitted the 2024 budget by email to the BOD

SOLO REPORT: Al Hermans
Our T&T and first event were held on April 6&7. 51 people attended the T&T and 144 people attended Event #1.

The novice school and Event #2 are scheduled for May 18&19. Registration is open and the school has 35 entries and Event #2 has 96 entries. We continue to enjoy a healthy novice class (31 entries).

The Street Survival school on August 17 is open for registration. As usual, we are looking for coaches and volunteers to help out at registration and on course. If you know of any teens that might be interested in being students, please direct then to the SCCA website at https://www.scca.com/pages/street-survival.

Scott Peterson has constructed a new mounting bracket for one of the timing boards. I picked it up today and will deliver it on May 18.

The next MiDiv solo event is this weekend in Independence, KS. This is a new site and registration closes on Thursday at 2:00 PM.

The CAM/XS/CS challenge is also this weekend in St. Louis. Registration is closed.

The “No-Work” donation per event is working well. 10 spots were filled in the first event.


MEMBERSHIP REPORT: Paula Diehl – 656 members for the Region.


KVRG REPORT: Bill Johnson
Upcoming event Ozark circuit. June 1&2. We always need workers. It’s a great weekend with multiple options of work, run and play.

Hallett was a good event. New updates to the circuit were good. YouTube broadcast was good.

Hedge Hollow did not work out due to time constraint.


RALLYCROSS REPORT: Max Bear
Event 1 at I-35 went well. 

Event 2 at Thunder Valley was rained out.

Next event is Ray Rocks June 22-23.

Things should be updated now including schedules.

Cloud storage is being developed. A folder has been created for archived results.

They are going to create an archive results naming standard, e.g. “KCR-RX-Event Name-Date”.
