Call to Order
The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Bill Johnson at The Bar on November 29, 2022 at 7:10pm.
Board Members present: Bill Johnson, Chris Kern, Paula Diehl, Al Hermanns, Jessica Dorn, Ed Nicholson, and Mike McGinley.
Board Member(s) not present: Bob Henson, Greg Cheney, and Donna Cross.
Guests: Clarissa Votipka, Jeremey Salenius, and Erik Votipka.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: (Ed Nicholson)
Paula made a motion to approve the minutes; Mike seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

Looking into moving the savings account for a better savings rate, but still reviewing. Rates are improving for CD’s.
Mike made a motion to approve the treasurers report; Paula seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)
Solo report to KCR BOD – 11/29/2022
Event #10 was held on October 30. There were 144 participants. Event results are posted on the region website and the audit has been submitted.
We will need to decide what amount of a donation will be made to GoBabyGo after all the financials are in.
We will need to find a new printer for helmet stickers, paper numbers & class letters, and annual tech stickers. Kent Edmundson no longer has access to the printing equipment since the print shop has closed.
The national pro solo and champ tour schedules should be released on or about December 2.
Bill, Hollweenie had great a lot of food, all the leftovers where donated and everyone seemed to having a great time.
RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Nils, Ed read)
Last Event (Event #8 11/29/22):
Our last event at I-35 Speedway was a fantastic event! We got to run on their large and smooth West parking lot and it was a blast! We all enjoyed the amount of room and course freedom that Mark Macobrie got to utilize. We are looking forward to using that lot next year as well! We had 35 drivers come out and our net revenue was $1,261.03.

KVRG REPORT: (Bill Johnson)
Will had two or three events Heartland Park and Ozarks, put in the dates for these events. Looking at entry fees.
Race track south of KC looking for a price will visit next week. If we go will be a time trial, regional race.
MEMBERSHIP REPORT: (Paula Diehl)
620. Up 2, but down 5 total.

ELECTIONS: 8 ballots so far and Tim needs a membership list.
ANNUAL MEETING
We need to keep the December meeting as brief as possible to spend time on the annual meeting.
Looking for a place to have the meeting next Tuesday. Maybe Conroy’s but looking at a place in Northtown and Brookside also
BANQUET: Ed Nicholson.
Looking for photographer, either ask Doug or can we do a photo booth using a smart phone. Could use a hashtag for folks to send their own photos.
Need to collect the traveling trophies and get the new ones in the works, we need to get orders in beginning of December for new and updated trophies.
Mike needs to send the list to the solo and rally X groups, please mark those for specific group.
Looking at nominees for the various awards travelling awards.
Jessica offered that trophies could be dropped off at the shop 95th and I 35, near Costco.
Bill to send out email on nominees for the outstanding member awards to the race groups.
