March 25, 2025 – KC Region Board Meeting Minutes
Call to Order
The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Al Hermans at 7:06 PM at Conroy’s Public House.
Board Members Attending: Greg Cheney, Josh Holsworth, Jessica Dorn, Max Bear, Al Hermans, Robert Henson III, and Andrew Von Bevern, Dan Rowland
Board Members not present Chris Kern, Phil Meredith, Paula Diehl, Josh Huff
Guests included Jon Robertson RAC Chair, Ed Nicholson.

Solo Report– Al Hermans
Test & Tune and Event #1 are coming up on April 5 & 6. 51 are signed up for the T& T and 118 are signed up for Event #1. Registration closes on April 3 at Midnight.
The first two weekends have sanctions approved and COI’s issued. Jessica paid MCC earlier today for the first two weekends. Next payment is due May 13 for June events.
The trailer was cleaned out on March 15. A lot of junk was removed, especially from the truck including the generator (which was never used), the table, upper cabinets, and rack over the right rear wheel well. The items stored in the truck will be redistributed for more even weight distribution. There is a heavy cabinet that will likely be removed when time permits.
The repairs have been done to the van. Labor was exchanged by the Votipkas for the salvaged parts.

The 3/22 event at Thunder Valley was successful with 41 attendees.
The team is working on a marketing plan. KCR RX stickers are available for $5.
Next event is April 13 at Holsworth Farm.

Old Business
Bylaws update. We need to change the format of the presentation and do individual articles for the club to vote on. It has to be announced to the club 30 days in advance. Then we can vote on each individual bylaw change.
The HotSpot was updated to the $35 per month plan.
Phil and Paula are the new banquet chairs.
New Business
The National Office wants all event sites to have a written contract with the region. Solo, Road Racing and Rallycross all have signed contracts.
