October 6, 2026 KCR Region General Meeting Minutes

Call to Order

The Kansas City Region SCCA general meeting was called to order by RE Al Hermans at 7:32 PM at The Bar Prairie Village.

24 members attended

Secretary’s Report– Greg Cheney

Minutes have been posted on the website. There was no September General Meeting. Henry Rompage moved to accept, Bill B seconded.

Treasurer’s Report- Bill Bauman

August 2026 Financial Report

Starting Line and Street Survival checks have been received and deposited.

Bob Henson motioned to approve. Charlie Clark seconded.

Membership Report- Al Hermans: 623 members. 

Solo Report– Jeff Bartz

Over 50 members attended SCCA Solo Nationals

The Sept 26-27 autocross was good with over 100 attending each day. They used part of the concrete pad on Saturday which went well.

Next autocross is Halloweenie October 24-25.

KVRG Report– Bob Henson

Sept 28-Oct 4-63rd Annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs-Elkhart Lake, WI

Several members attended.

RallyCross Report– Jon Robertson

The September event was cancelled due to rain and mud.

It is rescheduled to November 1.

Next event is an Endurocross November 15 at I-35 Speedway. 

Web Report– Greg Cheney

Results and season results have been updated through event 8 on the results page on the website.

Shootout results have not come in yet.

Halloweenie details have been posted to the website and on MSR.

Visitors are down 3%.

Page impressions per session are up 8%.

Most frequently visited pages are rally cross season points, autocross schedule and results, and the autocross page.

Most people came to the website directly, but that was down 10%.

Search engine was up 10%.

New Business

Nominations for elections are in the process. If anyone is interested in running for SAC, RAC or the board please contact any board member. We have 3 now on the committee.

BOD is submitting a by-laws amendment to add the SAC and RAC chairs as members of the BOD replacing 2 at-large candidates.
