SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)
Planning is still underway for 2022. Discussed preliminary schedule today. We are looking into doing a Starting Line School and a Street Survival in addition to one or more local schools if possible.

Kansas has 10 dates this year, waiting to hear.

Hope to announce a schedule within the next two weeks, depending on response time from MCC for available dates.

Donation to GBG  decision needs to be made if it’s the SAC or BoD. Seems like in the past it was a SAC recommendation and the board approved the recommendation. This will be discussed at the next board meeting.

KVRG REPORT: (Chris Kern)
Donna, KVRG convention has been cancelled and we are working on doing something virtually. Look for coming information.

Lot going on with the CFR in March at Ozark wanting to get this open for registration. We have a lot of interest currently. Still looking to firm up logistics at Ozark. Looking for 60 to 80 people. There will be a meeting coming in a couple of weeks.

Heartland Park event is moving along and we are getting things together.

Track Night in America coming soon will be needing help. Starting in April. Always a sellout 90 plus cars.

Looking to get workers back this year. Sending info to all RE’s and working with past workers list from MSR.

Mike, KVRG has about $50,000 in the bank. Was established when Kansas and Kansas City Region combined for racing several years ago. Events like Heartland Park are pricy about $25,000 so money in the bank does not allow for failed events. KVRG will be putting out the upfront money for the CFR school with the expectation of a good break on track rental for the June event. Will be getting dates out for CFR and race at Ozark.

We will be needing support the May Heartland Park event for workers and drivers.

RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Greg, using Nile’s Davis annual report)
Greg, 8 events averaged 42 entrants far a  320 total for the year which was a 20% increase. Most rain outs we have ever experienced but even so we look to be the fifth largest RX region. Looking for more participation from other regions in 2022. Of our RX group 6 or 7 went to nationals. Mark Hill tops as a national champion. Add new members here which are all new members.

OLD BUSINESS

  • 2021 Awards Banquet updates: (Lisa Kern) Should we go through with our banquet for this year given Omicron? Mike gave the rundown for the banquet if we go ahead and no one shows versus cancelling or postponing the banquet. If we postpone can give them a lower number of attendees and go forward. Can we go after April? Decision: We will be postponing and lowering the number of attendees until a later date which we will be busy determining. Will look for a Friday or Saturday.
  • Mike, all email groups have been updated but have a limit of ten addresses, two need to be added to get to all members.
  • Mike talked to Charlie and all traveling trophies are in but one, Mary Kaye Ashe. Also need to know rally X driver of the year. Al will get Solo from KVRG and Mike will get road race awards.
  • Note 2010 Snell helmets are out for road racing but still good for Solo.

NEW BUSINESS:

  • Mike, do we have anyone out there with web skills that might be available to take over? We need to fill this position, could save the club $4000 per year.

Call for motion to adjourn

Donna made a motion to adjourn and Dick second motion passed. Meeting ended at 8:31.
