SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)

Event #8 was held on September 24. There were 108 drivers with times.

Registration is open for events 9 & 10 on MSR, scheduled for October 8 and 29 respectively. There are 25 entries so far for even #9 and 20 for event #10.

There is a National Champ Tour event in Frederick Oklahoma on October 20-23. Entries are a bit low and the decision to cancel the event will be made on October 5. There are 52 entries so far and they need 120 to make it happen. If anyone is waiting until the last minute, there may not be anything to wait for.

We had several people participate at Solo Nationals in early September. There were no national champions from this region but Craig Wilcox was 2nd in his class.

We will continue funding Go Baby Go for Hollweenie.

Will be looking at I-70 Flying H as they have a new parking lot we can use and will be investigating using this for future events.

KVRG REPORT: (Chris Kern)

Heartland will be going up for sale at the end of October, 2nd. Events at the track are in doubt for next year.

Last track night for the 19th of October, might be fun to have a bunch of us come out and talk about road racing at the venue as this could be the last event there.

Try to relate Ozarks here. Home office still talking about what the pay.

Could use help at Garnett. Fun weekend to work with a short day on Saturday with events in town to see. Event does pay workers.

Could we pick up track night people for time trail with Heartland Park going away? New track by Adrian might be a venue we could use.

RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Niles – Greg reporting)

Sept 17 I-35 Speedway 35 cars and it was a nice dry day. This was only the 4th event this year due to all the rain outs. Mark Macoubrie did the setup of the courses. We ran two courses accumulative time about 10 runs. No problems with timing for front wheel drive cars which has been see at other venues.

There was a test and tune on September 10th at Ray Rocks at a gravel area, Area is fairly flat and around a lake. Event was limited to 15 cars, had a good day and may be a new venue for RX in 2024.
