The Halloweenie Silent Auction is coming up Sunday, October 29th. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will go to Variety KC—Go Baby Go. Go Baby Go transforms toy ride-on cars so that disabled children have the freedom to move with little to no assistance. The charity gives these specialized cars to children in need in the greater Kansas
City area.
You may remember a couple of years ago, when we had the opportunity to present five of the cars the Club put together to five wonderful kids and their families. Remember the joy on their faces? The tears in their parents eyes as their otherwise dependent child now had the freedom to move? That memory motivates me daily, and I am happy to assist with the Silent Auction again this year.
