SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans – Ed read the report in Al’s absence.)

T&T and Event #1 were held this past weekend.  Approximately 60 people were at the T&T and 112 came to Event #1. Both days started a bit damp and chilly and while the T&T warmed up nicely, the chilly stayed for Event #1. Both days courses were fun if you stayed on the pavement. Not so much if you went off as the grass was a slippery muddy mess.

Registration for the MiDiv (Events 2 & 3) being held on April 29 & 30 is open now. There are currently 101 entries shown in MSR (entries are listed separately for each day).

All coming events are listed in MSR through the end of the season. They will open 4 or so weeks ahead of time. All event dates have been reserved at MCC and have been sanctioned with the national office.  Insurance certificates have been received from K&K.

Trailer cleanout and inventory was done on March 11 at BHR– 2916 Holmes Street, KCMO. We had several people come out to help.

The Street Survival school is open. It is capped at 24 students and will be held on August 26. We will need instructors and volunteers, especially at registration and tech. If you want to instruct, there is an online tutorial that is required to be taken. For those unsure, we are not teaching technique, just guiding them through some basic exercises. Having a rapport with the students is as important, if not more so, than driving skills. Spread the word amongst friends, neighbors, schoolmates, etc. Street Survival will be sending out an email blast to past students and others in their database soon.

Phil, we have broken the 100 mark for a solo already with our first event did not do this before June in past years.

Rueben would like us to do a T&T and autocross at the Liberty Airport July 22nd with NA., Due to current schedule of events this does not look doable at this time.

Paula, 4 already registered for the street survival school.

KVRG REPORT: (Chris Kern)

Sups are done and approved, rolling along fine tuning the event. Need help in all worker facets of the event.

Need help for the upcoming Hallett Super Tour event and there will be 150 cars.

We do need to publicize. Hagerty could be a source, can do some targeting through FB,

Could we do a cars and coffee at Heartland? Greg is going to talk to James Cahill.

Bob talked to JR about us providing sandwiches and we are in good shape for our Ozark event in July. Gas pumps and tire service coming with a parts store, can place orders there with O’Reilly and the parts will be delivered to the track. This event is a majors race with a national TT. This should be a good event.

RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Nils – Greg reporting in Niles absence.)

RX this coming weekend and there are thunderstorms forecasted. We are looking for a new sponsor for RX this year.

WEB REPORT: (Mike McGinley)
We are getting the website technical updates taken care of, should have statistics for the month at the end of the week.

OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

  1. We are looking for a volunteer, National has left over items from our partners including a TT entry at the Ozarks. If there is a young driver on the fence due to car prep and entry money this will be a great opportunity. Phil will ask around at the SAC meeting.
  2. NASCAR Wants to know if we would like to do a car show in conjunction with their May event.
  3. Bill will be looking for a general meeting location. We will be at Conroy’s for the month of April.

EVENT DATES
Next solo – April 29 & 30 MCC.
Rally X – April 2 I-35 Speedway.
Road racing – Heartland Park May 20-21 2023.
Track Night in America Heartland Park – April 27.
Time Trials – Heartland Park May 2023.
