Motion passed unanimously. For detailed information, please contact Jessica.

Membership: Paula reported that we currently show 541 members.

SOLO: Al reported that there has been a change in the schedule for July 6 and 7th. The annual meeting held at Blue Label Racing was well attended with 25 cars being inspected or the annual tech sticker.

April 6 is the Test and Tune, sold out with 63 entrants. Event #1 will be the following day on April 7th. To date there are 78 entrants. The MIDIV is May 4 and 5th at HPT. Street Survival School is June 1st, event #4 June 2nd.

KVRG: Chris reported that t he May 17, 18, and 19 event are open on MSR. Time Tria ls should be open tomorrow. The July event is being discussed as the track in Nebraska is still under water. There will be a meeting after Hallett to discuss options. A decision will need to be made soon.

Web: Mike reported on the progress for the transformation of our site. The e-mail version has been sent out. E-mail lists from SOLO, KVRG, Time Trials and general memberships were used. There were around 2600 e-mails. Mike will be in the main contact for content of the site. He will also handle updates as they become available. The cost for the new site is $3,000, $3,600 earmarked for updating. $3,000 of this was paid for by the grant that KCRSCCA was given thanks to Mike’s proposal. The question of a forum was asked. Mike will check on that. Jessica will be having a meeting with Doug in the next few days so he is informed of what the plans for the new site are. The site is expected to be up by the end of April. Mike moved to approve the new site, seconded by Bill. Passed by majority, Tim abstaining.

It was decided that each program should appoint two people who are responsible for getting content to Mike. Bill and Mike for road racing. Rally Cross, Dave and a second to be appointed. SOLO to be appointed. It needs to be very clear who these people are and what their responsibilities are to Mike and the site.

The forum was discussed. It was moved by Todd that is it costs $250 or less to move forward with it. If it costs more than $250, we will need to discuss further. Second by Bill. Passed by majority, Tim abstaining.

OLD BUSINESS: Paula checked on the BSP award from the banquet. It is believed that he now has his award.

Several questions were raised regarding the large financial loss of the banquet. There were only 100 in attendance. It was questioned if several made reservations but did not attend, and how many comps we paid for. Discussion was tabled until Lisa can be here to clarify. Ideas were proposed to just have appetizers, or raise cost of meal or push for sponsorships.

NEW BUSIN ESS: Jessica needs pictures form the banquet for the newsletter. The 2019 Budget has not been finalized. Jessica to go line by line and clean up for the Board to approve at the next meeting.

Chris brought up the fact that we have outgrown our general membership meeting place. Please be actively searching for a new venue.

The June General membership meeting will be a family picnic at Antioch Park 6pm on June 4th. We will be hosting a RC Pro SOLO Challenge. Race whatever you bring.

Thank you to Jessica for working on our Charter, which was presented to the Board. Thank you also to her for getting the e-mailed newsletter out.

There being no further business, Tim moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Mike. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting was adjourned at 9:10pm.

Respectfully submitted

Paula Diehl
