Discussion on the budget:
We should look over and go into in detail next meeting. UPS Box rental due in April. Adjustment down for membership renewals and a line for $1,000 grant money as an estimate. Will get less reward from credit card, doing more pay by check. Not all the groups had time to review their budgets and will need more time. Will come back to this next month.

Some thoughts on the $700 line item for marketing this year. Photographer Andy Schultz could get us some professional pictures for the website. Andy for banquet is the photographer and indicates he has various pictures we might consider. Bob, could we use stickers for car back windows to advertise club, Cliff or Hans may be able to create these for us?

High interest checking was for personal only and not for businesses. Could either do a 3 month CD for 4.25 or an Edward Jones for 3.59 for a money market fund. This would be some of our $10,000 from Savings and money set aside for future vehicle expense. Mike made a motion that we put the money in the CD and Bob second, motion passed.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT: (Paula Diehl)
615 members. Up 1 and have 4 brand new members.

SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)
MiDiv schedule has been released – looking at 6 event weekends. The date at Stuttgart, AR will be changed due to site availability.

Local schedule has been released – looking at 10 events, T&T, school, Starting Line, Street Survival. Two of the scheduled weekends are not available at MCC – looking at options.

Trophies have been ordered and the proofs approved. Looking good to be shipped prior to the banquet.

For the Midiv convention, a solo town hall and SSS training have been scheduled.

There is interest in Lincoln to put a distribution center at the National solo site.

UA is asking if we could setup solo at Lees Summit Airport, area bigger then Kansas Speedway. Solo group not sure of participation as yet and there were questions on sanction and insurance.

RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Nils)
Greg reported the first event moved to the end of February. Will be at Grain Valley.

KVRG REPORT: (Bill Johnson & Chris Kern)
Date for Ozark is set but we do not have a contract for Heartland at this time.

Will not have a Track Night for Heartland but will be a Friday night drag race we will need to coordinate with. Track Night will occur on Thursday, do not know about workers. We will get a longer test day because of this.

Will have a national TT tour event with the Ozark event and this is helping with the track expense.

WEB REPORT: (Paula Diehl)
Still getting things together for new members. Rachel and Paula working on the google calendar.

BANQUET: (Ed Nicholson)
Banquet to be held February 11th from 5 PM to 9 PM at St Andrews Golf Course 11099 W, 135th Street, Overland Park, Kansas. We will have access to setup 2 hours prior to the start time. At this time we have 120 confirmed reservations for the banquet and registration will close at midnight tonight. Emcee for the banquet will be Justin Walker and Andy Schultz is our photographer. Jessica will confirm the final count for Ed tomorrow and he will be contacting St Andrews to finalize details.

MIDIV CONVENTION
