SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)
The 2020 KCR Solo season was a dumpster fire that just kept giving.  Planning for the first event was halted by the first Covid shutdown and the resulting closure of MCC. We had hopes to get started again towards the end of May but MCC remained closed. We finally got word in July that MCC would remain closed until the end of the year. We contacted the staff at Sandstone (Providence Medical Center Amphitheater) and the site was not available as they had not opened after the shutdown. The VIP lot has been re-paved and looks to be fit to handle our events. Discussions have also been had with Arrowhead and Worlds of Fun but were begun too late in the season to allow for an event to be held. All four venues will be contacted for 2021 opportunities. Until further notice, the SCCA Covid protocols will remain in place for events in 2021 unless county or city orders are more restrictive.

Thanks to the generosity of Kansas Region, we were able to co-host 4 events and use the Topeka Divisional as two points events for a total of 6 points events.  Season end points have been tabulated and will be posted on the region website soon. Class trophies will be distributed at regional solo events during 2021 or by appointment. I still have some trophies from 2019 that were not picked up at the banquet.

On the divisional level, 6 out of an originally scheduled 10 events were held.  Class trophies for KCR members arrived earlier today and will be distributed at regional solo events during 2021 or by appointment. I still have some trophies from 2019 that were not picked up at the banquet.

Nationally, the Champ your and Pro-solo schedules have yet to be released.  The JDP program was suspended in June to allow for a review of the program as a whole. Recommendations have been made by the committee to the BOD and a decision and plan of attack are expected in December based on the latest schedule. 2021 rollout to the regions is expected to be slow.

Mike any idea on average participants? Al – Not really but first two on July 80ish, October events about 110, then following weekend on 10 and 11th dropped to the 60s.

KVRG REPORT (Chris Kern):
Update everyone on 2020  HPT race and 2021 dates. Also discuss TNiA in 2020 and plans for 2021.

July 17 -19 Majors event. Due to Covid was a respectable turnout, more attended than 2019. Did well for our event given Covid and concerns with participants and workers.

Coming up next year two events at Heartland Park one in May and one in July.

RALLYCROSS REPORT (Dan Colburn):
Total events – we averaged 42 drivers up from 32 last year.

Reuben – Charity events has done well we did very well with the car show and has really helped UA. Increase of 25, 5 every year.

Dan – When we use the Riverside event we need a tractor to move dirt back after the event. We provided an entry for use of a tractor last time and Riverside indicated possible use of theirs but checking to see if there are others who can assist with the grading.

ROAD RALLY REPORT (Dave Williams or Mike McGinley): No events held in 2020.

Traveling Trophy return request – Lisa will be sending out messages about the collection and arrangements will be made for pickup.
