Call to Order
The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Paula Diehl at Johnny’s Tavern on February 6, 2024 at 7:35 pm.

Members present: 50 people attended.
Welcome first time attendees: Steve Johnson Past President and CEO of SCCA, Chuck Hunter, Jeff Hunter, Doug Bryant, Ryan Hodapp, and  Eryk Michalak,  

SECRETARY’S REPORT: Greg Cheney
Ed made a motion to approve the minutes; Max seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

We will have 3 sites. I-35 Speedway, Thunder Valley Speedway and Ray Rocks.

NEW BUSINESS
Bylaws and Ops manual are being reviewed by the BOD. Will discuss at the next board meeting.

Paula Diehl: Keep saving up pull tabs for Children’s Mercy Ronald McDonald house. Benefits cancer treatment.

SCCA past president Steve Johsnon was here and spoke about his time in the national office and that he is permanently in Kansas City.

Andrew Van Bevern spoke about the new KCR promo cards and passed some out.

OLD BUSINESS
KCR Banquet is set per Ed Nicholson. Go to MSR to sign up for the banquet. Dinner is $35

Bob has a carousel of old slides from racing years ago. If anyone has a carousel projector we can show those.

Silent auction will again benefit Go-Baby-Go to help kids with disabilities.

110 are registered.

Midiv Convention is in Topeka Feb 23-25. Free to attend. Banquet tickets are available. Lots of new presentation events are scheduled.
