Mike: Old van sale has been completed for $500.

SOLO REPORT: (Al Hermans)
We have held two solo events, #’s 9 and 8, since the last meeting. We had approximately 70 entries on October 23 and 66 entries on October 24. I think the weather forecast resulted in fewer entries on Sunday which actually turned out to be much nicer than anticipated.

The starter motor on the van went out on Saturday. It was replaced on Sunday afternoon prior to leaving the site.

Our season is done so it is time to look ahead to 2022. We will be contacting MCC about possible dates and site availability. Apparently, the drift and Porsche clubs also use the site so we will need to reserve our dates earlier than before.

I would say that 2021 was a success overall, considering the late start. Total entry count is down about 25% from pre-COVID numbers. Hopefully that can be improved upon in 2022.

Jessica is still looking into using Arrowhead as a solo site and will check with her contact.

Tim, SCCA is stopping the junior carting program and will not be continuing. Jessica, how will we be able to incorporate the young interested in our programs?

MEMBERSHIP REPORT: (Paula Diehl)
Mike reported for Paula. Reported a current membership of 563. We are up 6.6% for the year.

KVRG REPORT: (Chris Kern)
Last track night a week and half ago, spread thin as usual for workers but 90 plus cars for the event.

Working on the dates and paperwork for the racing events for next year. Dates and events follow:

  • April 2/3 – World Wide Technology St Louis Majors/Time Trail
  • April 23/24 – Hallett Motorsports Park Oklahoma Super Tour
  • March 20/21 – Heartland Park Raceway Topeka Majors/Time Trail
  • June 4/5 – Ozark International Raceway
  • July 23/24 – World Wide Technology St Louis Regional with a tentative time trail and possible vintage race

RALLYCROSS REPORT: (Nile Davis)
With there being no event this last month there is not a ton to report. We have our points event on November 7th and added a novice school and Test N’ Tune on November 6th in conjunction with Unnaturally Aspirated’s event on the same day.

Our last points event will be on December 5th. All of these events will be at TVSD. Hope to see some of you out there to support the program and Reuben’s charity!
