Call to Order

The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Paula Diehl at 7:02
PM at Conroy’s Public House.


Board Members Attending: Paula Diehl, Greg Cheney, Chris Kern, Josh Huff, Jessica Dorn, Max
Bear, Phil Meredith, Al Hermans and Josh Holsworth.


New board members attending were Andrew Von Bevern and Robert Henson III.


Daniel Rowland and was not in attendance.

Secretary’s Report– Greg Cheney

Andrew VB made a motion to approve the minutes; Chris Kern seconded. Motion passed
unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report- Jessica Dorn

Just sending a reminder that the Club does have a safe deposit box at Commerce Bank
in case you have any Club documents that you would like to be added.


The Club has a deposit for the Awards Banquet coming due 1/8/2025 of $600. I have
started a MSR event for the banquet but wanted to see if there were any updates to
times, menus, etc before going live with it.


Josh Huff motioned to approve the $600 for the banquet. Andrew seconded.


Solo Report– Al Hermans

Hope to have 2025 dates next week for MCC confirmation.


MiDiv is still in the works. KCR SCCA will not host one.


The discounted fees for Halloweenie were $1302.00 so I would recommend that we contribute
that same amount (or more) to Go Baby Go. The board recommended a $1500 donation.
Greg moved, Max Seconded.


Membership Report- Paula Diehl

622 members for the Region. Weekend memberships are in the count and then fall off without notice.


KVRG Report– Chris Kern

Officers were selected. Bob Henson is chair and James Cahill is vice-chair. Adam Pessetto is
secretary.


Discussed possibilities at Hastings, Ozark and RPM/MAM.


Rally Cross Report– Max Bear

Dec 7 at Ray Rocks was a good event.


The RAC chair for 2025 will be Mark McCoubrie.


Web Report– Ed Nicholson

2022 and 2023 results are not archived on the web yet.


Old Business

Bylaws will be up for consideration at the next board meeting.

New Business

We discussed Outstanding Members of the Year nominations.


The Awards Banquet is in the works. Agreed to $40 per person.
