You can! At the 1st annual Kansas City Region SCCA Capture the Flag Rally!
Imagine you and several of your friends navigating from point to point, finding the flag, solving puzzles and winning great prizes. Follow the simple directions from Point A to Point B. When you arrive at point B, find the flag and open the clue envelope. Find the answer to the clue and snap a picture of you, your buddies, the flag and the answer, then post it to the Kansas City Region of the Sports Car Club of America Facebook group page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/KCRSCCA/.
Sounds simple? It is! People will be watching you, wondering what you’re doing, and you get to tell them! You’re having a blast with SCCA! You may even recruit some new members and make some new friends along the way.
This year’s event will focus on some beautiful parks and recreation sites in Johnson County, KS. So, not only will you be having fun, you’ll be enjoying what the area has to offer for recreation and relaxation.
This event will run rain or shine. You’re encouraged to bring friends, in fact, fill your entire car and come out! It’s a flat rate entry fee of $10 per car. You’re required to have a minimum of driver and navigator, but the more eyes you have peeled to solve puzzles, the better your chances. You will need to be able to post your pictures to the Kansas City Region Facebook group page during the rally, and you will need a clock watch able to keep track of time to the nearest second. There are some good apps for your smartphone for this if you do not have a watch.
