Glen Shepard, a KC Region 55-year member,  and his wife Barbara recently had dinner with KC Region RE Mike McGinley and his wife Mary. Over dinner, Glen discussed his lifetime of racing, starting with Autocross in the early 60’s followed by Road Racing into the 2000’s.

Glen had an opportunity to race with some of the greats, competing with Ken Miles at Lake Garnett, and the Carroll Shelby 1965 GT350 Shelby American Team.

He mentioned that he had his son Kyle transfered a lot of his old 8mm films into a video he posted on Vimeo, and also posted on our Facebook page. It’s a great look back at the way things were in the early days of our club.
