The Johnson Spirit of the Sport was awarded at the 2021 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals to a group of racers that share a special bond. Maybe it is their passion open-wheeled single seaters… maybe it is their passion for all things loud… but this group of Solo racers has come together as a pseudo-family over that past years. They are at the ready with a wrench, or sometimes a whole engine in times of need. They are there to cheer each other on to victory and put their minds together to figure out what will make them go faster.
The 2021 Johnson Spirit of the Sport Award was bestowed upon the For the Glory Team / F Mod Family. They highlighted KCR members Brad Smith and Dan Wheeler (Brad is pictured along with Jeff Blumenthal of the NE Ohio Region).
