June 3, 2025 – KC Region General Meeting Minutes

Call to Order

The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Al Hermans at 7:34 PM at Johnny’s Tavern.

13 members attended. AJ Hemperly was a guest that will join and run his Civic Type R.

Secretary’s Report– Greg Cheney

Andrew VB motioned to approve. Jon Robertson seconded.

Treasurer’s Report- Jessica Dorn

Bill Bauman motioned to approve Treasurer’s report, Andrew VB 2nd. Motion approved.


Solo Report– Al Hermans

Event #3 was held on June 1. 138 attended the event and it was actually fairly warm by the afternoon.

The next local events are on June 21 & 22 and registration is open now. There are 177 entries so far split between both days.

The next Divisional solo event is June 7 & 8 in Salina and after that June 28 & 29 in Muskogee, OK.

Registration for Nationals will open on June 10 at 3:00 CST for Tier 1 and June 17 at 3:00 CST for everyone else. The most intense race is to get on the registration list.


Membership Report- Al Hermans

642 members for the Region.


KVRG Report– Bob Henson

The road racing results have been posted to the website.

Next event Ozarks July 11-12. They are still needing workers. National SCCA is requiring 2 corner workers per corner station.


Rally Cross Report– Jon Robertson

Next RallyCross is this weekend 6/8 at I-35 Speedway.

Jessica read the individual bylaws proposals to the membership. The bylaw amendments have been presented. Membership now has 30 days to vote on proposals.
