March 31, 2026 – KC Region Board Meeting Minutes

Call to Order

The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Al Hermans at 7:06 PM at Conroys.

Board Members Attending: Greg Cheney, Phil Meredith, Robert Henson III, Bill Bauman, Henry Kraujalis, Josh Holsworth, Max Bear, Dan Rowland. 

Board Members not present- Andrew Van Bevern

Secretary’s Report– Greg Cheney

I am working with Emmi on updating the website. Still need confirmation on SAC and RAC members.

I will do a review of the website this coming month and send updates.

Treasurer’s Report- Bill Bauman

Bill reported on the Solo fees coming for 2026. MCC rates have increased. 

Robert Henson III motioned to accept and Max Bear seconded.


Solo Report– Jeff Bartz

T&T is April 4.

Novice school is April 11.

First autocross is scheduled April 12.

Trailer clean up was a success this past weekend. We have new cones and corner stations. Trailer organization pictures have been printed and will be attached.

The new Pronto timing software has been installed and used at the March rallycross.

Funds for two new monitors for timing were approved. Some may be donated.

Ray Rocks event had 39 attendees. There was one safety incident that has been reported to the National office and insurance.

Midiv Convention – Al wants to propose that the 2028 MiDiv Convention be held in

Independence, MO if possible. Also, propose being ready for the 2027 MiDiv

Convention as a backup.
