New cones have arrived at Phil Meredith’s house. They will be delivered to the trailer in groups as needed based on how many will fit in his vehicle.

RALLY CROSS REPORT: (Nils)

Numbers from last event:
Our total number of drivers for the weekend was 39. We had 13 family entries at $40 and 24 regular entries at $45. We had one driver run both heats and pay two entry fees. Our net revenue after MSREG fees was $1,579.34. With site fees and consumables. Total profit for the weekend is $817.80.

Early last year there was some experimenting with a hose system that does not have the same pitfalls as the lazer system when it comes to dust. This project was headed by Reuben Samuels and unfortunately, much of the research and knowledge of this secondary system, left with him.

The RAC is interested in trying to make the hose system the primary system of timing for RX, as to avoid the issues we had with timing this weekend. While we do not think it will be ready in time for our July 10th event at I-35 speedway, we are hoping we can find a way to implement it in the near future.

Note: Mark has information to use the hose system. Looking to bring this on line in the future.

Event coming this Sunday. Moved event 6 to a test and tune for folks going to national, Event 6 is September 11, which is the test and tune plus charity for naturally asperated at Grain Valley.

Van has a new side window! Group did the work this last week.

Upcoming events:
Event #4 @ I-35 Speedway Winston on July 10th
Event #5 @ Thunder Valley Sand Drags on August 28th

KVRG REPORT: (Chris Kern)
Race at Ozark disappointed with the entries, track is entertaining. There were issues but nothing we have not been able to handle before. Lost about $1000 dollars.

Racing is done for the year. We need to figure out how to get the event numbers up for road racing. How do we co-exist and how do we get more racers. We have tried endurance events with very limited success. We need to do better at promotion. Events are compressed, front loaded to the beginning of the year, need to be able to stretch the schedule into later in the year and add events. Scheduling needs to begin for the next year in June as tracks are booked up just after mid year for the next. Do we increase prices to help cover the cost of putting on events? Further discussion on this topic will be necessary.

Track Night in America – July 21 and we need help, help, help.
