Solo Report– Al Hermans

The total number of entries for events 1 – 10 was 1402 which was down 29 from last year. It is possible the entry cap had an effect but there was a roughly 10% no show rate as well. The cap is being raised to 160 for 2026. There were 47 T&T entries, 22 novice school entries, 13 starting line entries, and 14 street survival entries. 50+ people came for the special event before it was shut down. There has been much enthusiasm to hold another (properly sanctioned this time) in 2026. Average attendees was 140 per event for the season. Our site at MCC will be unavailable from June 2026 – August 2026 so that the MCC staff can enjoy the World Cup games.

From the national office, starting in March 2026, a licensed course designer will be required to be added to every sanction request. Online training has already begun and a few KCR members have already taken the course. Those who wish to design a course but are not licensed will need to have supervision by a licensed course designer. This will be discussed as part of the national convention and divisional conventions.
