June 30, 2026-KC Region Board Meeting Minutes

Call to Order

The Kansas City Region SCCA Board Meeting was called to order by RE Al Hermans at 7:03 PM at Conroys.

Board Members Attending: Greg Cheney,  Robert Henson III, Andrew von Bevern, Bill Bauman,  Phil Meredith, Dan Rowland, Henry Kraujalis.

Board Members not present- Josh Holsworth

Guests: Caleb Lowery, Nichole Boyer, Jon Robertson, Jeff Bartz, Max Bear.

Caleb and Nichole gave a presentation for an automotive gallery and meeting place tentatively set for the East side. Anticipate an October opening.

Secretary’s Report– Greg Cheney

The June 28th RX at I-35 was cancelled due to rain. It is rescheduled for July 12.

New Business

Need to start a nomination committee for this year’s elections. The board will get some names to participate.

Old Business

The trailer has been upgraded. Brakes and lights have been repaired. The front axle has been replaced. Holes will be repaired in the walls. 

The webmaster sent an email today that she has decided to take some time away from website admin work. She noted she has loved working with KCRSCCA and has appreciated our support and communication as the webmaster.
