SoloSchool-2012

On Saturday, April 12th, we are offering a Novice Solo School open to all who are either new to the sport of Solo racing or have minimal experience and are looking to learn. We have fifteen fantastic driving instructors lined up including several National Solo Champions and trophy winners. Students will receive one-on-one instruction in their own cars on a course designed to highlight the handling and car control skills necessary to be a competitive Solo racer.

There will be two instructional sessions, one in the morning and one after lunch. The morning session will be a time for the students to work with their instructors on targeted tasks depending upon the student’s skill level and areas that need improvement. After the provided lunch (likely subs, chips, and soda), there will be a directed exercise emphasizing the importance of looking ahead followed by a two-run competition. The $70 cost of the school includes an entry into Sunday’s Solo Event where students can put to immediate use the lessons they learned on Saturday. Below is a video to give you a better idea of what the school is about and an agenda for this year’s school. Hope to see you there!
