Solo Report (Al Hermans):
We have a revised schedule to allow for ProSolo to be relocated due to site issues. Registration opens 5/22/19 for the ProSolo at HMP. Our novice school is 6/29/19; #6 event on 9/15/19.

We had a solo meeting on 3/9/19.  Approximately 50 people came. Blue Label Racing is the title sponsor for this year.  Test and Tune is sold out.  Motorsportreg has a text app for text notifications. We are looking into using this.  It would be convenient to use for last minute cancellations or weather updates, etc.

KVRG Report (Chris Kern):
Our May event at HMP is online and registration is open. Time Trials should open tomorrow afternoon. We are planning our July event now.  There’s the possibility we may have to move it to Hastings or to HMP.

Charlie Clark has results from Hallett last weekend.  We had 151 cars.

Rally Cross Report (David Williams):
Unnaturally Aspirated, which is a Lung Transplant Charity for one of our members Reuben Samuels’, will be having a Car Show on April 27th at StoneGate Motorplaza to benefit his charity. The RallyCross program will be holding a Test and Tune/Demo during the event and all proceeds of the event will be donated to UA. Reuben would like for all of the SCCA programs to be represented there with vehicles and members on hand to discuss our programs to attendees of the event.

Web Report:
We have hired a web developer to redesign the KCR website.  We had applied for a $3,000 grant with SCCA’s National Office and it was approved.  Our targeted Go-Live would be end of April 2019.  We are looking for a minimum of 2 people from each SCCA program to volunteer to write articles for the website.  Mike McGinley and Bill Johnson have volunteered to write for Road Racing.  We would like to improve communication with our club members and one idea would be reviving the newsletter.  Jessica and Mike are working on it.  We can also send emails through a system called Constant Contact.  This system would be able to broadcast through various filtered groups KCR communications through email.

Old Business:  None

New Business:
ProSolo consists of having two mirrored tracks with two cars who race head-to-head. On 6/4/19, we will be having a ProSolo Race at Antioch Park Shelter House #1.  We’ll be setting up a ProSolo track at to start at 6:00 p.m.  We will have food and then race our cars.  This will take the place of our General Meeting for June.

We have our first Track Night in America on 4/18/19.  If you would like to work it, plan on being at HMP by 2:00 p.m. Contact Chris Kern to work or drive.  There may be an incentive for working.  We are still confirming.

Sat, April 13 – JCCC is proud to host their biannual Evening with the Stars.  A short commentary at 7:30 p.m. in the Craig Community Auditorium, GEB 233, is followed by a one-hour viewing session using telescopes at the Paul Tebbe Observatory which includes the Moon, planets, star clusters, and galaxies.
