Now that you’ve been shagging cones at events, perhaps seeing issues that you’d like to correct or just wanting to contribute to events in a different capacity, it’s time to step up and become a Solo Safety Steward. Attending a live class, either here within the Kansas City Region, or at the annual Midwest Division Convention, isn’t always easy to do given the complications of schedules and the demands of having a life, but there’s now an alternative. We will be offering an online Solo Safety Steward Class on Thursday, March 30, 2017 7:00 PM CDT. Please register for this class by following the URL:

https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4381009959767763715

This Solo Safety Steward (SSS) online class is the first formal step to become an SCCA-licensed SSS. This can also be used to renew or update your SSS/SSI license to the 3-year license. The purpose is to be able to continue having fun with our cars. The start time of the class is geared toward the eastern half of the US.

Please be familiar with the Introductory Section, 1. Solo Events, 2. Course, 3. Vehicles, 4. Drivers and Classes, 5. Officials, and Appendix E – Solo Safety Steward Guidebook of the 2017 SCCA National Solo Rules beforehand. www.scca.com/pages/solo-cars-and-rules

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Thanks for stepping up and being involved in this mission-critical role for any SCCA Solo event. Without Solo Safety Stewards, we don’t get to compete.

What do I need to do to sign up for the on line SSS to renew my licence? I used the URL but the web site was unavailable. Thanks
