The 2016 KCRSCCA RallyCross Championship began the season with three great events at the Thunder Valley Sand Drags in Grain Valley, MO, but the final three events of the season will take place at three different venues. Rain and schedule conflicts destroyed our original plans for the last half of the season, but now we have three great events in place with the first coming up in a little over a week at Heartland Park Topeka. Event #5 will be at our usual season-finale site at the Holsworth’s farm in Garnett, KS, and we will wrap up 2016 with Event #6 at a new site, the Crowley Family Farm in Savannah, MO.

Heartland Park Topeka
Event #4 of our 2016 RallyCross Championship, the Heartland RallyCross Showdown, is a special event hosted by the SCCA National Office at Heartland Park Topeka on Sunday, October 23rd. We will have a large lot adjacent to Gate E to use and enjoy. This will hopefully be the first of many RallyCrosses at HPT for us and the Kansas Region as we look for new sites for regional, divisional, and national events. Registration is open on the national SCCA.com website, https://www.scca.com/events/1985798-2016-heartland-rallycross-showdown.

Garnett, KS
Event #5 at the Holsworth family farm will be on Sunday, November 6th and is open for registration now. Early November is always a beautiful time of year on the 10-acre field as it sits on top of a hill and is surrounded by the vibrant fall foliage of the trees in the neighboring properties. Be sure to bring your lunch and plenty of fuel. The site is not within quick reach of Garnett so lunch will have to be enjoyed on-site al fresco. You can register now at MotorsportsReg.com, https://msreg.com/KCRX2016-5.

Savannah, MO
Our final event of the year will take place at a new venue, the Crowley Family Farm, in Savannah, MO just north of St. Joseph on Saturday, Dec 3rd. This latest RallyCross venue for the Kansas City Region is much closer for our Nebraska and Iowa neighbors while still remaining an easy drive from Kansas City. The weather may be chilly and we may have snow, but that will just make the cones easier to see. Registration at MotorsportReg.com opens on November 3rd, https://msreg.com/KCRX2016-6.
