Attention all goblins, ghosts, and minions: It is time to ready your costumes and cars for the Kansas City Region’s annual “Halloweenie”! This year it will be held at its regular venue, the MCC course in Independence, MO on October 28, 2018.
Not only does this time of year find our competitors vying for last minute points, but as always the club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs, water and soft drinks. You just need to bring your favorite side dish. Please don’t consider chips a side dish. This is typically one of our largest events, so we will be feeding a large number of competitors and their families.
There will be a costume contest prior to the first car off with first place trophies to the best human costume and best decorated car. So don’t be shy!! Wear your best costume.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit our charity “Go Baby Go” which provides small electric cars which have been outfitted for those children with special needs. Jessica Dorn will also be overseeing a silent auction whose proceeds will also benefit this charity. So bring your costume, your car, your covered dish, and your silent auction items for a great day in the autumn.
Registration is open for this event. Be sure to register soon as this event fills rapidly.
