Prepared CategoryEligible vehicles must be identifiable with the vehicles offered for sale to the public and available through the manufacturer's normal distribution channels in the US. The intent of the rules is to allow older World Challenge cars to compete in Club Racing with minimal modifications and allow new cars to be built to the same spec as well. No model years older than 1990 will be permitted. The B Prepared (World Challenge GT based) target performance is 450hp. The D Prepared (World Challenge Touring Car based) target performace is 250 hp. The competitiveness of any given car is not guaranteed. |
