KCR SCCA Event 1 is wrapped and what a great start to the season it was. It was a bit cool and a bit damp, but there were no dampened spirits and much fun was had by all.

Once again it looks like C Street is going to be a close battle all season long with only 2.7 seconds separating 1st through 7th place!

Dick Van Benschoten continues to drive the wheels off of his VW and dominated the race in G Street while also netting himself a top 25 PAX slot.

STX will be an interesting one to keep an eye on this year being that it is chock full of national champion drivers and Mark Hill in a BRZ!

The novice “class” keeps growing and was the largest class of the day with 16 drivers lead by Reuben Samels in his Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Great job new guys and gals!

Jr. Karts also had a strong showing on Sunday with 8 drivers! Always great to see the future of the sport out having a blast!
